StarVR, BeRise Join Hands to Tap Japan's High-end VR Commercial Market

Taiwanese StarVR, a subsidiary of Acer, recently announced that it has cooperated with BeRise, a Japanese VR system integrator, to jointly set foot in the Japanese commercial market with higher-end VR (Virtual Reality) applications, the Economic Daily News reported on July 27. The cooperation will focus on three VR solutions, including VR simulator, VR motion base, and VR waking system. Prior to its tie-up with BeRise, StarVR has joined hands with Japanese video game developer SEGA with an aim to set up StarVR's dedicated VR playgrounds in over 10 SEGA Game Centers across Japan by the end of 2018. Moreover, StarVR is set to develop enterprise-level VR solutions for construction, automotive, military, aerospace, medical care, and retail industries in the next few years.
